Sex differences in cancer incidence are well-documented, and sex-biased tumor growth has been observed in various types of human cancers. Dr. Wang’s research aims to elucidate the mechanisms governing the integration and coordination of internal, microenvironmental, and systemic signals in sex-dimorphic tumor growth and progression, using a powerful Drosophila tumor model.
