Exploring the Intersection of Estrogen Receptors and Sleep in Cardiovascular Health
Dr. Visniauskas's research program is dedicated to investigating the interplay between sex hormones, hypertension, and sleep, focusing on their implications for cardiovascular diseases in menopausal women. We are particularly interested in elucidating how estrogen receptors influence blood pressure rhythms and the sleep loss, as well as their broader impact on vascular health.
